Dear Parents,
Assalamualaikum,
Being a “Cambridge Associate School” registered with Cambridge
International Examinations (CIE), this year our students of grade 9 will
be eligible to appear for the “Cambridge Checkpoint”, which is a test
designed to assess learning at the end of Cambridge Secondary 1
programme. The tests are marked in Cambridge and provide schools with
an external international benchmark for learner performance.
Our teachers are working intensively with the students to prepare them
for the test that cover all major areas of learning in the Cambridge
Secondary 1 Curriculum frameworks for English, Mathematics and
Science, and give valuable feedback on learner’s strengths and
weaknesses.
The Cambridge Checkpoint will be conducted in April, fees per subject
being SR. 230/Your consent confirming your child’s appearance for the assessment is
needed for us to register them with CIE.
