Subsequent surveys should be undertaken annually for five years from the date of the initial survey. 5 Targets 5.5 Noted. Consideration should be given to the principle of a reduction in single occupancy vehicle (SOV) journeys by 10% from baseline over a five year period, supported by targets for all other modes. Consider the establishment of a residents group, at which the Travel Plan is raised as an agenda item at least twice per year. This group should formally take responsibility for the Travel Plan after the initial five year monitoring period. Dependent upon interest and demand, consideration should be given to the establishment of any or all of the following: A dedicated Travel Plan group to specifically take responsibility for the plan, its actions and initiatives. Bicycle User group (BUG). Walking group. Car Share group. Overall comment The Travel Plan is a working document, and should not be seen as exhaustive. It will be subject to change in the light of progression and completion of the development, results of actions undertaken, and responsive to results of future travel surveys.
