Some more advice:
1. The colleges you applied to have several scholarships that you might qualify for once accepted. Be
sure to look at their lists and submit applications by the required deadlines. They have an office and
website to help you.
2. Check with employers where family members work to see if they offer any scholarships.
3. Be sure to complete the FAFSA Application in January or February. The sooner the better as
government money does run out!
4. Sign up for FREE scholarship searches on line. There are several choices but these are great:
www.fastweb.com and www.scholarships.com. Caution: NEVER PAY for this INFORMATION, it
should always be free!
