FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE October xx, 2014 CONTACT: Dave Green info@getmysterious.com 310-650-5656 MYSTERY TRIP LA REBRANDS TO MYSTERY TRIP, CHANGES URL AND LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT GetMysterious.com is the new home for all things Mysterious, including MT DIY, a follow-your-own custom itinerary perfect for smaller groups. Mystery Trip LA, the award-winning event planning company that creates customizable excursions, today announced they are changing the name of the company to better reflect the growing interest outside of the Los Angeles region. “The greatest percentage of events happen in Los Angeles,” said Dave Green, founder and Chief Mysterious Officer of Mystery Trip, “but after several trips already completed in Philadelphia, and more in the planning stages in Chicago, San Francisco, New York and Austin, we felt it was time to change the company’s name to reflect the growth and overwhelming nationwide response.” In addition, Mystery Trip has created MT DIY, a new offering to better serve people looking for a more intimate, yet still incredibly mysterious experience. This new service is perfect for those who want the experience of a Mystery Trip but don’t want the event hosted by one of Mystery Trip’s Mysterious Officers. “More and more I’m getting calls from people looking to plan a unique date night, parents visiting their kids at college, or a last-minute birthday celebration,” Green noted. MT DIY will give people the same opportunity to experience all the weird, eclectic and unexpected parts of the city that a typical Mystery Trip would provide, but on their own.” Currently in soft-launch, MT DIY initially guides users through a questionnaire which will be used by the Mysterious team to create a customized event for a group. In keeping with the tradition of “the best night you don’t know about,” MT DIY clients are given a blind itinerary with just an outline of their adventure. Upon payment, they receive a full-loaded version, complete with surprises and fun tips to keep them on their toes. For four years, Mystery Trip has created unique and memorable trips for team building, client outings, birthdays and networking events. Past trips have included tours of historic landmarks and odd museums, meals at socially conscious restaurants and gourmet food trucks and cheering on sumo wrestlers, roller derby divas and demolition derby drivers. The mystery is none of the guests know where they’re going until they get there! ### About Mystery Trip Mystery Trip is the award-winning event planning company that has worked with corporations (Google, AOL, Riot Games), celebrities (Emma Stone, Andrew Garfield, Christina Hendricks, January Jones to name a few), locals and people from all over the world to show them the hidden gems, incredible places and unusual people of their own city.
