Social Leisure Group for students with Asperger’s Syndrome
Claire Gleeson in the Unilink Service is currently facilitating a social, leisure group for Trinity
College students with Asperger’s Syndrome. The aim of the group is to increase the
participation and engagement of students with Asperger’s Syndrome in sociable leisure
activities on and off campus and to meet and establish friendships with their peers. The
group also aims to develop potential for increased leisure activities and deepen the
knowledge and experience of social skills and social situations for these students.
