SCHOLARSHIPS
GE-Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program – DUE January 7, 2016:
Applicants must demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity and
citizenship. Winners receive a renewable $10,000 scholarship. Applications can
be found at www.reaganfoundation.org.
Elon University Scholarships – DUE January 10, 2016: Applicants must have
a GPA of 3.7 or higher, an SAT score of 1900 or more (3 sections) or an ACT
score of 28 or higher. Applications can be found at

Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) Scholarships – DUE January 20,
2016: Applicants must have financial need, academic achievement, leadership
and community involvement. There are 4 scholarship opportunities that can be

Grow Ag Leaders Scholarship: - DUE February 1, 2016: If you are interested
in furthering your education in agriculture, you are encouraged to apply. A $1500
scholarship will be awarded. Application can be found at

NCAE Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship – DUE February 1, 2016:
Applications are available online at http://www.NCAE.org.
Florence Kidder Memorial Scholarship – DUE February 5, 2016: Recipients
are selected on the basis of character, need and scholastic record as well as the
merit of an essay. Applications are available online at www.ncdames.org.
CNFC Scholarships – DUE various: Jagannathan Scholarship applicants must
plan to attend a UNC system university, have academic achievement, financial
need, extracurricular activities and evidence of leadership. Go to
www.cfnc.org/jag. You will be able to apply for many scholarships listed through
CFNC on their website.
MILITARY SCHOLARHIPS
Scholarship for Military Children – DUE March 2016: Applicants must be
planning to enroll in a four-year college/university. At least one $1500
scholarship is awarded and an application can be found at
http://www.militaryscholar.org. Applications available beginning December 15,
2015 and are accepted until March.
NC Division of Veterans Affairs Scholarships: Children of deceased, disabled,
combat or POW/MIA veterans are eligible to apply for scholarships to attend a
college or university. For more specific information on eligibility requirements go
to www.ncveterans.net

TEACHING SCHOLARSHIPS
UNC-G Teacher Education Fellows – DUE January 1, 2016: Applicants must
plan to major in elementary, middle, high school or special education, have a 3.8
weighted GPA and minimum 1100 SAT (verbal and math) or 24 ACT composite
score. Applications can be found at www.oss.uncg.edu/teaching-fellows
ECU Maynard Scholarship – DUE January 7, 2016: Applicants must have a
minimum score of 1,000 on the Math & Reading portion of the SAT or an ACT
score of 21, and an un-weighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. You must agree to teach
a minimum of 4 years in specified counties upon graduation from college. To

Meredith College Teaching Fellows Scholarship – DUE January 15, 2016:
Recipients must “repay” the scholarship by working as a teacher after graduation.
