Mid-Year Exhibitions of Learning

This year, students will participate in a Mid-Year Exhibition of Learning. This exercise will provide an opportunity for
students to –





share their individual stories as learners,
reflect on their progress, specifically with regard to the skills of being a Collaborator and a Thinker,
reflect on their progress with regard to one other Attribute of their choosing (Learner, Innovator, Contributor),
consider their achievements in the various subject areas, and
celebrate successes and set goals for the remainder of the year.
At the same time, this exercise will provide parents the opportunity to –





see students' accomplishments,
hear students discuss their learning experiences,
be a part of student goal setting by providing feedback,
experience the energy of students engaged in a learning task, and
actively participate in an authentic learning experience.
Students will work on compiling their presentations during Mentorship Classes February 2-6, 12. On February 18,
students will participate in the exhibition during their assigned time, and will evaluate their peers during the other time
slots. Teachers will remain in their regular mentorship classrooms. Students will present in their regular classroom and
move to other classrooms for peer assessment (see rotation schedule). The following is the adjusted schedule for February
18:
