CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1 Entries close Friday 10th July 2015. Entries will be
restricted in all classes, so enter in good time to be sure
of acceptance.
2 Late entries will be accepted on the day at £3.00 extra
for all classes, if the class is not already filled.
3 Refunds will be made on receipt of S.A.E. with vet or
doctor’s certificate less £6.00 administration fee.
OTHERWISE REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE
FOR RETURN OF FEES IF THE CLASS TAKES
PLACE.
4 Hard hats must be worn when mounted.
5 The judge's decision is final.
6 Ridden Horses or Ponies must be the minimum age of
four years.
7 The Organisers accept no liability for any damage to
competitors, spectators, officials or property. This is a
condition of entry.
9 We reserve the right to cancel classes if insufficient
entries are received by the closing date.
10 This show is affiliated to The Coloured Horse &
Pony Society (UK), The Veteran Horse Society,
Chiltern and Thames, Swallowfield Show. See society
rules over leaf.
11 Correct riding attire must be worn in all jumping and
showing classes.
12 Jumping classes will be judged under BSJA rules.
13 All horses/Ponies MUST be insured.
Society Rules
This show is affiliated to the Coloured Horse and Pony Society (UK) affiliation number 15086.
Both owner and rider/exhibitor need not be a member of CHAPS(UK) nor must the horse or
pony be registered with CHAPS(UK) to compete. However in order to qualify both owner and
rider/exhibitor need to be a current showing member and present their valid qualifier card IN THE
RING for signing by the judge. Members to apply in writing to CHAPS(UK) for appropriate qualifier
card. The CHAPS(UK) Championship Show will be held on 7th–9th August 2015. The following
classes are CHAPS(UK) Qualifiers:1,2,5,11&12. For full rulings and information on
competition/qualification, please refer to the CHAPS(UK) MEMBERS’ HANDBOOK; or visit
www.chapsuk.com for rulings. All stallions 4 years old and over entering these classes must be graded
with CHAPS(UK). All stallions must wear stallion ID discs in the ring without exception.
This show is affiliated to the Veteran Horse Society.
Class 4 – Combined class – In-hand 15yrs & over. Open to horses and ponies over the age of 15.
To combine classes but judged in age categories Pre-Veteran (15 to 19yrs) Veteran (20 to 24yrs) and
Diamond Veteran (25+yrs and over). This class will incorporate qualifiers for the Regional Final and
National Championships.
Class 7 – Combined class – Ridden 15yrs & over. Open to horses and ponies over the age of 15. To
combine classes but judged in age categories Pre-Veteran (15 to 19yrs) Veteran (20 to 24yrs) and
Diamond Veteran (25+yrs and over). This class will incorporate qualifiers for the Regional Final and

Awards –
 A special Rosette for the best registered Dales Pony In-hand Mountain and Moorland class.
 A Performance rosette for the best registered Dales Pony in the Ridden Mountain and Moorland
Class.
A SPECIAL/PERFORMANCE ROSETTE OFFERED BY THE DALES PONY SOCIETY
FOR THE BEST REGISTERED DALES PONY SHOWN BY AN EXHIBITOR WHO
PRODUCES A CURRENT MEMBERSHIP CARD IN THE RING.
This show is affiliated to RB Equestrian CT Summer Show jumping Championships.
Championships to be held at Herts County Show Ground on Sunday 13th September 2015.
In order to qualify for these championships riders must be a member of C & T Rider prior to the

Class 8 Rehabilitated Racehorse
Entry Fee £10.00
Open to Thoroughbreds who have retired from racing and are now retrained. Horses must have raced
and be able to show a race record. Horses will be expected to do a freestyle show at the qualifiers.
Horses must be 15hh (153cm) and over. Open to geldings and mares only, 4 years and over. Blemishes
are not considered. Horses must be registered with Weatherby’s General Stud book or an overseas
equivalent.
The judge will not ride.

money BS on the date of the show at which they qualified. Any winnings subsequent to qualifying
will not be taken into account Jumps (70cm) First, second and third places qualify. If not members of
C & T Qualification will pass down the line as far as 5th place. All horses must jump clear in the first
round to qualify.
