Itasca County Horse Project 2015
State Horse Show trips will be allocated based on the percentages of participants in each
discipline, including the riders in grades 3-13.
o
For example: For a 6 trip quota - if 20 horse/riders participated in the Performance
classes, and 10 horse/riders participated in Games classes…
20/30= 67%
.67 x 6 trips = 4
4 trips would be awarded to Performance qualifiers, 2 trips to Games qualifiers
If an exhibitor qualifies in both disciplines, they will be assigned the trip they ranked highest in.
Ties will be broken in this order, moving from step one on if tie persists:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Person with most 1st places
Person with most 2nd places
Person with most 3rd places
Draw name from a hat.
Unused Performance or Games trips would be offered to the other discipline to fill the county
quota.
