You and your team will debate against another team regarding the goods and
bads of Biomass Products and Fossil Fuels. You will need to think about the
following items and incorporate them into your debate.

7. The ability to “sell” your case/point of view (Make a connection/emotions)
8. Debate time length = 1 - 3 minutes per topic w/ a 1 - 2 minute reaction
from opponent
a. Each team will discuss multiple topics
b. Team 1 will support their topic (1-3 min.) and Team 2 will argue
against it (1-2 min.) The Panel will determine the question and
appropriate length of time.

We will have 3-4 students be part of a panel. This panel will do their own
research to formulate questions to be asked during the debate. We will include
1 teacher to join the panel for each bell. (Determine how you will score the
debate – keep it easy and unbiased. Rating system with total points may help.)
