Canada 1945-1982 Museum Project An Artefact is any object made or used by human beings. Artefacts are windows into the past and a connection to the present. Your project will centre on an artefact that is connected to an important topic or issue related to Canada between the time period 1945-1982. This project is your chance to demonstrate your research and insight into this period of history by creating a museum display on any topic of your choice. Goal: 1. You will conduct primary research on a significant Canadian topic/artifact 2. You will be able to show how your topic/artifact impacted Canada in the twentieth century 3. You will present this information to the class in an informative and interesting manner. Each individual will research and organize a visual display which covers: a) The background to your topic and artefact b) Relevant information on your topic and artefact (example Who, What, Where, When, Why, How?) c) Explain both immediate and long term impact your topic and artefact has had in the time period of its relevance and on history in the twentieth century.
