Senior Market Analyst The Role The Senior Market Analyst will provide in-house consulting and research services. The role reports to the Head of Strategy & Innovation and requires close collaboration with members of the sales, product development and marketing departments. The role will be based at the company’s headquarters in Kingston-upon-Thames. The role has come about as the current employee is on maternity leave. Responsibilities The Senior Market Analyst’s primary responsibilities will be to Deliver a holistic and strategic view of new markets for Intelligent Environments Provide actionable insight into Intelligent Environments’ competitors and competitive environment (making it relevant and useful to sales, marketing and strategic partnerships, to enhance customer and prospect interactions) Support the development of the product roadmap (ensuring new ideas are both customer centric and commercially viable) Identify new strategic or tactical partnerships that could enable Intelligent Environments’ growth strategy Provide thought leadership on topics that both build awareness of, and differentiate, Intelligent Environments (amongst customers, prospects, partners, industry analysts and the media) Requirements With a research led approach, the Senior Market Analyst will crystallise and document strategy for the business that both leads to further penetration of its current target market and expansion into new ones (with an eye for new geographical opportunities). The individual should be comfortable with the principles of strategy, marketing and new product development; all within the context of mobile and web technology. A delivery mentality is important as they will be required to meet monthly deadlines and deliver strategic goals. This is a role for someone who can shape opportunities and work collaboratively. Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have: A track record of shaping business strategic direction Scoped new business opportunities Demonstrated outstanding analytical skills – with the ability to take concepts and understand what is needed to deliver them to market Experience of researching customer needs Written thought leadership (opinion pieces, blogs, infographics etc) Worked in conjunction with sales & marketing teams developing key messages, collateral and presentations A passion for understanding technology trends and best practice An understanding of financial services, mobile and web channels and/or experience in B2B software The Benefits Basic Salary: based upon your skills and experience.
