Lodha Used a variety of sophisticated geophysical equipment to develop techniques to characterize the rockmass in the Canadian Shield as part of the Canadian Nuclear Fuel Waste Management Program. Ground probing radar was used to detect fracures behind rockfaces underground and sonar was used to map lake bottom topography and to charcterize the sediments on the lake bottoms. Duties included acquiring the equipment, planning the surveys, processing the data and publishing the results. Other duties while at AECL involved travelling to high schools across western Canada to discuss nuclear energy issues Petroleum Geologist Hudson's Bay Oil and Gas Calgary, Alberta Dec. 80 - Mar 82 Supervisor: L.
