Focus on Miss Metcalf
Autumn 1 2015
Hello!
I’m Miss Metcalf and I am in my 3rd year of teaching here at Morland School. I’ve
been in Class 2 and have taught years 1,2 and 3.
I live at home with my Mum and Dad on my family’s dairy farm – lots of children
have visited my farm during school time! Milking cows and feeding calves is
another talent I have.
When I’m not busy with school work I am a keen member of Eden Valley Young
Farmers. I have been a member of Young Farmers for 8 years now, and have
held many different positions at club, district and county level. I compete in lots
of competitions and my proudest moment was reaching the national finals of a
speaking competition and coming 2nd in the entire country! I have recently
become chairman of our club and love seeing lots of familiar faces of past pupils
when they join.
