Select ONE of the following for your oral presentation:
Choice #1: Character Monologue: An Alternate Point of View
Retell a scene of the book from a point of view other than David.
This character must be a part of this section of the book. Consider how the other character would view
the events in this scene. What are their thoughts? How does her perspective change the scene? All key
events must be included in your alternate point of view.
Choice #2: Epilogue: What happened Next?
Present a short epilogue to the novel. Consider the events that happen after the rescue. You may use
another character as your protagonist.
Suggestions include Michael and Rachel’s journey to Sealand, David, Petra’s; Rosalind’s adjustment to
living in Sealand or????
