E welcome you to Sunny Slope Hunting Ranch, located 40 miles S.W. of Wheatland, WY, in
the majestic Sybille Canyon. Sunny Slope Outfitters run one private land camp during the
Wyoming Hunting season. We offer a limited number of fully guided big game hunts to
increase your chance of a successful harvest of Antelope, Deer, or Elk. The camp is located at
our ranch headquarters and we have access to approx. 10,000 acres of accessible hunting land.
Sunny Slope Ranch property offers rocky canyons, rolling hills, and wide open spaces complete with streams
and ponds, perfect for spot and stalk hunting.
Our Hunting practices stem from our childhood and life in Wyoming. With over 40 years of experience in big
game hunting in Wyoming, we value our land and wildlife with utmost respect. We take our knowledge of
safety and sportsmanship to offer you an experience of a life time.
Welcoming hunters young and old, we start preparing your hunt as soon as it is booked. Sunny Slope Outfitters
donate many youth hunts every year. These hunts start in September and end November 30th. I may have one of
these kids either in camp or in the field while you are here. Please make them feel welcome. They are the future
of our hunting way of life.

WHAT TO EXPECT
You can choose to stay in our lodge which is a remodeled trailer house with modern facilities, with showers and
made up single beds. Or you may choose to rough it a little and stay in a tent complete with a heating stove and cots. At
camp we have a smaller building set up as a mess hall. A little history on the mess hall, it used to be the old post office
where Tom Horn mailed his letters which now include tables and chairs to relax or play cards or share hunt stories. Our
hunts provide Rustic Wyoming Beauty that includes priceless historical landscape, western outdoor cooking served inside
a historical building, guides that know the habits of the wildlife in this area better than anyone else, Sunny Slope
Outfitters will do their best to make this a hunt one you will remember for a lifetime.
We begin each day with a complete, large home cooked breakfast before the morning hunt. While the cook
prepares breakfast, the guides will prepare a lunch for himself and his hunters. Our guides and I consult with each other to
go over where everyone is headed for the day. We leave each morning with the intent of being gone all day. The weather
dictates the harvesting of animals and how long we stay in the field. No hunter is allowed to hunt without a guide nor
consume any alcohol while hunting.
Your normal day will start out with glassing for game from the guide’s pickup. When your choice of animal is
spotted, you will go after it on foot. Your guide will make sure you do not leave the vehicle without taking food and water
with you (we have cases of bottled water at all times). I ask all hunters to bring a small day pack. Do not ask your guide to
carry your personal items for you. Some hunters prefer to walk all day, while others prefer to stay closer to the vehicles.
Again this is the hunter’s choice.
When a game animal is harvested, the priority is to immediately recover your game and return it to camp. As the
guides and their hunters return to camp each evening, we take care of skinning and properly cape each animal. All capes
will be frozen and skull plates cleaned. Identification will be placed on both the cape and antlers as to who they belong to.
By the time supper is ready; all game will be ready for us to take to the locker plant the following day. Supper will be a
large home cooked meal. All sleeping is in the house so all clients can take showers and go to bed at their leisure.
Expect long hunting days. We hunt elk area (5), deer area (63), and antelope area (38). All hunts are spot and stalk
with four wheel drives. We offer all fair chase hunts. Elk hunts are 5 day packages, deer hunts from 3 to 5 day packages,
antelope hunts are 3 day packages. * Note: Regardless of when your animal(s) is harvested, you are welcome to stay the
duration of the hunt.
All meals will be furnished, please inform us when booking any allergies, or foods you don’t eat. All game will
be taken care of properly. Meat will be delivered to the locker at no charge, but hunters are responsible for processing
fees.

BULL ELK RIFLE HUNTS
In Area 5 begin October 1st, requiring a General License. I guide most of these hunts myself. These can be one on one, or
two on one whichever the hunter prefers. These hunts can be 3 to 5 days. Contact for package price difference.
Mule Deer Rifle Hunts
In Area 63 begin October 15th, requiring a General License. These hunts are one on one or two on one, whichever the
hunter prefers. These hunts can be 4-5 days. Contact for package price difference.
Pronghorn Antelope Rifle hunts
In Area 38 begin October 5th, requiring a Limited Quota License. These hunts are one on one or two on one, whichever
the hunter prefers. These hunts planned to be 3 days.

Refund Policy
Sunny Slope Outfitters: Has the following refund policy as it pertains to all deposits and fees paid to them by
client for any/all services provided or requested.
1. Within 15 days of booking a hunt, a $500.00 deposit for each species that you are booking to hunt is required.
The deposit can be personal check, certified check or money order.
a. If client does not draw license for any package that client has put a deposit on, client’s money will be
refunded in full to the client within 30 days after the outfitter has been notified by the client that him/her
was unsuccessful in the license draw. If client fails to notify the outfitter within 30 days (based on actual
Wyoming Game and Fish Department license draw date), of not drawing a license in the drawing, the
deposit will not be returned.
b. If the client so chooses, due to not drawing a license, any/all deposits may be held by the outfitter as a
deposit for a hunt the next year. This request shall be done in writing within 30 days (based on the actual
Wyoming Game and Fish Department license draw date), of the client not drawing a license in the
drawing. Failing to notify the outfitter within 30 days after not drawing a license that the client wants
deposit held for a hunt next year shall result in client not getting a deposit refund and not being booked
for a hunt the next year.
2. Within 45 days after the client is successful all remaining fees shall be paid to Sunny Slope Outfitters. Any
deposit made shall be applied to the total package price. The fees should be a personal check, certified check,
or money order.
3. At this time Sunny Slope Outfitters will begin to plan and lock in your package. Sunny Slope Outfitters has
no guarantee of success, or Refunds.
* In addition to the above, full refunds for all deposit and fees shall only be returned by Sunny Slope
Outfitters to the client in the following situations. However, no refunds shall be granted after December 31 of
the year in which the hunt was booked. Refunds shall be returned from Sunny Slope Outfitters to the client
within 30 days.
a. In the case of death of the licensee, any person who has authority to represent the deceased as provided by
a court order shall submit a written request for a package refund supported by a copy of the respective
death certificate.
b. In case of the death of the licensee’s spouse, parents, grandparents, lineal descendants and their spouses,
step- parents, step- sibling, step-children, father in-law, mother in-law, brother in-law, sister in-law, step
sister in-law, or step daughter in-law, the licensee shall submit a written request for a package refund
supported by the respective death certificate.
c. The date of death on such certificate shall have occurred during the regular season, resulting in the
licensee not being able to participate in the majority of the regular season.
d. In the case of incapacitating illness or injury of the licensee supported by a physician’s sworn statement
on a form supplied by Sunny Slope Outfitters.
e. Military personnel who receive permanent change of station orders or are assigned away from their home
duty station on temporary duty orders, all of this being supported by a copy of the official military orders
from the Armed Forces of the United States.
f. Individuals who are unable to participate in the majority of the regular season for the species specified in
commission rules and regulations during the year for which the license is issued as a result of a court
subpoena, jury duty, grand jury investigation, or attorneys required to attend criminal cases. A certified
copy of the court document shall accompany the written request for the package refund.
g. When the Department determines one hundred percent (100%) of the hunting opportunity and access to
the hunt area has been closed due to administrative actions of the state or federal government in closing of
the public access to public lands due to a natural disaster.
h. An error on the part of the Department or its authorized agent where the applicant has been issued a
license not requested.

Refund Policy Continued
i.
A sponsoring organization of a person with a life threatening illness may be granted a license refund if the
licensee’s opportunity to hunt is jeopardized as a result of incapacitating illness or injury supported by a
physician’s sworn statement on forms provided by Sunny Slope Outfitters that the licensee is incapable.
Please take into consideration we are 40 miles away from a small town in Wyoming and personal items may
be difficult to acquire. Wyoming provides many challenges, one day can start sunny and beautiful, and end
with a blizzard. We will accommodate accordingly, but ask for your cooperation, you know you better than
we do.
SUNNY SLOPE CLIENTS:
1. Proper license, and or licenses including Conservation Stamp.
2. Hunter safety card for all hunters born on or after January 1, 1966.
3. Proper identification i.e. driver’s license, and medical insurance cards.
4. All medications. That you’re currently taking. And enough for trip booked. A spare pair of
prescription glasses and or contacts.
5. Scoped Hunting Rifle in case (minimum .243 caliber for antelope and deer, and at least a .270 caliber
for elk). Sighted in at 150 yards.
6. Proper Ammunition. At least 2 boxes, preferably 3 or 4. The correct caliber for your rifle.
7. Clothing. A heavy coat, a lightweight coat or sweatshirt, rain coat, long underwear, medium weight
shirts, cotton T-shirts, cotton socks, underwear, long pants (preferably denim), good pair of walking
boots, a comfortable pair of camp shoes, Blaze Orange (Hunter’s Orange) baseball hat or vest,
stocking hat (orange), gloves, sunglasses, and a day pack bag (something you can carry belongings
in).
8. Equipment. A flashlight, binoculars, a personal camera (however we will be taking pictures and you
will receive photos on a disc of your hunt free of charge). Bring personal showering and toiletries
items with you i.e. shaving kit, shampoo, soap, and towel.
SUNNY SLOPE OUTFITTER AND GUIDES:
1. Are fully licensed and governed by the state of Wyoming.
2. Carry all Species and Hunting Rules and Regulations written by Wyoming Game and Fish.
3. Carry two-way radios
4. Have a GPS with Wyoming Game and Fish Departments maps of State and BLM land.
5. Carry all equipment necessary to haul out and care for harvested animal.
6. Will discuss emergency information, ranch rules, and protocol with all clients.
