MBA Full Tuition Merit Scholarship Application
Portsmouth Business School is offering two (2) full tuition MBA merit scholarships for applicants to
either of these full-time MBA programmes for September 2015 entry:


Master of Business Administration Full Time (1 year)
Master of Business Administration (with Business Placement) (2 years)
MBA 100% tuition scholarships are merit based and are designed to recognise individuals with strong
academic achievements, meaningful career contributions and a commitment to on-going professional
development. Scholarship winners will have their course tuition fees paid directly by Portsmouth
Business School.
Please note: Scholarship applicants must have already applied for admission to the Portsmouth MBA
and been offered a place on one of the full-time MBA courses for September 2015 entry in order to be
considered for this award.
The deadline for submitting MBA Full-Tuition Scholarship applications is: 27 February 2015.
Scholarship winners will be notified by 19 March 2015 and will be required to accept the scholarship,
their place on the course and pay a deposit within the timeframe specified in the scholarship award
letter.

Scholarship Terms and Conditions
1. Scholarship winners will be required to accept their place on the course, accept the scholarship
and pay a deposit within the time specified in the scholarship award letter, usually 6 weeks.
2. Scholarship awards result in a reduction in tuition fees payable to the University of Portsmouth.
3. Scholarships cannot be taken in conjunction with any other discount or bursary offered by the
University with the exception of the 2% early payment discount which is applied to the net value
of the fee. The early payment discount is available to self-funding students who pay their tuition
fee in full in advance of the beginning of the academic year.
4. Scholarships are awarded to the named individual only and are not transferrable to any other
individual.
5. Students who are unable to start the course, due to unforeseen circumstances, must reapply in
order to be considered for an award in subsequent years. There is no guarantee that full-tuition
scholarships will be awarded in future years.
6. Scholarships are awarded at the discretion of Portsmouth Business School and may be
withdrawn for justifiable cause, such as misleading or false information, evidence of illegal
activities, violations of the student code of conduct, etc.
