Call for Nominations
Nomination for election as a Director of the Board of
Healthy North Coast Ltd trading as North Coast Primary Health Network
Nominations open on 21 October 2015 and must reach Healthy North Coast Ltd trading as North Coast
Primary Health Network (NCPHN) no later than 5:00pm AEST on Monday 9 November 2015.
Prospective candidates should include with their nomination form a completed Application Form explaining
the Candidate’s suitability/qualifications to be an Elected Director. The Application Form must be received
no later than 5:00pm AEST on Monday 9 November 2015.
Candidates will be sent an acknowledgement of their nomination by email.
Please note that in line with the NCPHN Constitution:
 A person must not be nominated for election as a Director unless he or she is an Eligible Candidate
(Clause 10.15.4)
 Elected Board positions will be determined by a ‘first past the post’ voting system such that Board
positions are filled by Candidates with the highest number of votes in descending order (Clause
8.6.2)
 An Eligible Candidate will cease to be an Eligible Candidate if his or her election would otherwise
result in a majority of the Directors practising in any one profession (Clause 10.1.2)
Candidates are advised that the term of office for new Directors is three years.
Results of nominations will be sent to Members by 13 November 2015.

Healthy North Coast Ltd trading as North Coast Primary Health Network (NCPHN) is governed by a skillsbased Board consisting of Directors having appropriate competencies, skills and experience in light of the
skills matrix (below), and in particular having expertise in areas including knowledge of health care
provisions and its relationship to local communities, business management and accounting and legal issues;
and where a majority of the Directors are not practising in any one profession.
A person cannot be elected as a Director unless he or she is an Eligible Candidate in accordance with the
NCPHN Constitution.
