Alternative Spring Break Description
ASU will take a group of students to St. Louis, Missouri for an Alternative Spring Break trip in 2015. The group will

with several local organizations on service projects throughout the week, which may include food pantries, animal
shelters, hospitals, home-building projects, etc. Students will have selected times during the trip for leisure
activities at their own discretion, and tours/excursions may be built into the trip’s itinerary.
A full schedule of service projects and outings will be provided to students during one of two mandatory pretrip meetings. Efforts will be made to schedule these two meetings at the convenience of those selected;
however, students must be flexible in their efforts to be in attendance as well.
ASU will provide the hotel and travel accommodations. Students will be responsible for providing their own
meal money and leisure activity spending. More specific details will be provided closer to the trip dates.
