The next clinic is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., Feb. 15 at the shelter, 15750 E. 32nd Ave. Additional clinics are set for May 10, Aug. 9 and Nov. 8. Available vaccines for dogs include rabies, distemper and bordatella (kennel cough). Cat vaccines are for rabies, feline leukemia and distemper. Both vaccinations and pet licensing are required by law. Be prepared to pay for a license for each pet at the time of vaccination. The one-year cost for animals that are spayed and neutered is $15 (or three years for $45), while a oneyear license for animals that are intact (not spayed or neutered) is $139.
