Concepts of Interior Space, bearing the Unknown, Splits, and protective “Skin” will be developed. Methods—hypnotic, hypnoidal, and traditional-receptive—of navigating and learning from such spaces will be described and demonstrated. Participants will be asked to think in advance about their own patients with whom they feel mutually stuck in the final phase of transforming understanding into new patterns of behavior. Participants will be asked to Role Play and/or discuss their specific clinical challenges as a way to enliven the Workshop material with immediate, practical relevance.
