Here’s Our Top Five Reasons Why Everyone Should Join:
5. The membership fees go towards various student activities: student scholarships, classroom parties, teacher
grants for classroom materials, school assemblies, PTA sponsored grade level nights out, etc.
4. Just a friendly reminder that in order to volunteer at PTA sponsored class parties and events, as well as being a
room parent, you must be a PTA member.
3. Discounts!! By joining the Chesterfield PTA as a family membership for $12, you are also a member of the National
and State PTA which gives out discounts to members (for example: T-Mobile, Hertz Car Rental, MetLife Auto and
Home). This year’s family PTA members will receive two $10 Office Max coupons attached to your membership
card…it pays for itself!
2. Be in the know and a part of the school conversation! By becoming a member you will be more informed on what
is happening at CES. Being a PTA member will allow you to be involved in changes, decisions, and discussions involving
Chesterfield Elementary.
1. For your child(ren)! Every child loves to know their parents were involved in helping them see an assembly or
putting on a class party or being a chaperone on a field trip. PTA members make a better school experience for our
students. Remember, anyone from the community can join (grandparents, neighbors, community vendors/local stores).
We are striving for 100% membership from our school community. Please complete the form below and
return it in an envelope marked “PTA Membership Dues” with your cash or check for $12.00 per family to your child’s
teacher. Your membership cards will be sent home as soon as possible with your child.
