Doncaster 29.3 Cock of the North (1st – 75) confidently ridden just behind the early leaders picked up strongly in the final 200 yards to win going away. He should be able to pick up another race. Paddy Again (2nd – 61) led for much of the way and was green when asked to pick up, however she stayed on well enough and improvement expected, will be better for the experience and a small race within her capabilities. Richard Hannon’s Flyball (3rd – 59) stayed on without threatening the front two and wasn’t given a hard time should improve a fair bit for the run. Magic Florence (4th – 49) showed good early speed and can be expected to do better. Kempton 29.3 Not sure about the overall quality of this event but the winner Tiggy Wiggy (1st – 78) looks a nice early type. Quickly out of the stalls she crossed over to the rail and ran the rest of them off their feet to finish well clear. Clearly there should be more early season races in her. Lingfield 03/04 The previously unraced Cheerio Sweetie (1st – 82) clearly knew her job, very quickly away and leading from the start, clung to the rail position throughout to draw clear from the home bend. It’s possible she didn’t beat much, but was impressive and will win more races. Leicester 04/04 Although the time for the winner isn’t significant the runner up Burtonwood (2nd – 66) was in the firing line all the way until lack of experience told and was actually slightly ahead to be beaten on the nod. Improvement expected and compensation awaits. Harry Hurricane (3rd – 65) was as green as they come, pushed along for some way keeping on well; Come Uppence (4th – 62) and Fast Act (5th -57) the trio showed good speed and can be expected to improve. Wolverhampton 05/04 The strongly fancied favourite Patience Alexander (1st – 72) drew clear from the home turn and won eased down. Fit and clearly well forward she can go on from here and may pick up a nice race or two. Redcar 07/04 This was about the first two home both finishing clear of the third. Paddy Again (1st – 76) confirmed her earlier promise making all from the unraced second favourite Sarista (2nd – 72). The latters inexperience may have been a factor and this was a nice introduction showing clear signs of promise and will go one better before long. Beverley 16/04 After a good break Buccaneers Vault (1st – 78) was going well and stayed on strongly to snatch the win on the line. He should improve on this and can win again. Realtra (2nd – 70) came to win the race with a furlong to run however showing distinct signs of inexperience and will go one better in the near future. Bahamian Art (5th – 54) was a short priced favourite and bombed along and clear until lack of experience told approaching the last, she is sure to improve on this and can win a race. Newmarket 16/04 Three of these had previous experience however Mind of Madness (1st – 82) on his debut tracked the pace setters and clearly going well quickly passed them with a furlong to run to win very easily in good style. With further improvement anticipated he should be capable of winning more races. Ripon 17/04 This looks a fair race and it wouldn’t be a surprise if there isn’t a winner or two coming out of it. Roudee (1st – 79) knew his job well enough, smartly away and always in the firing line stayed on strongly, he’ll win again. Midterm Break ( 2nd – 76) another well away, looked green when under pressure in the final 200yds but stayed on well, he’ll win a small race on this showing. Collosium (3rd – 75) challenged strongly in the final furlong and will know a lot more next time and will win a race. Musselburgh 18/04 Mukhmal (1st – 85) on debut tracked the early leader and quickly asserted over a furlong and drew clear in style. He will win more races in this class. Magic Florence (3rd – 65) is worth another chance in a small race having no chance with the winner here. Bowson Fred (4th – 67) was green throughout and doesn’t need to improve much to win a small race. Kempton 19/04 Escalating (1st – 78) confirmed his earlier promise making all and staying on well to win nicely. He will win again. Be Bold (2nd – 70) clearly no Hannon leading light had no chance with the winner but should find a small race. Beverley 24/04 Possibly not the strongest of maidens however a few of these showed some promise. Bond’s Girl (1st – 71) tracked the long time leader Magic Time (3 – 70) until asserting in the final furlong. The winner will improve and can win again if not too highly tried whilst the latter can be expected to find a race before long. Mecca’s Mirage (2 – 66) stayed on strongly, will improve and maybe be worth noting. Make on Madam (4 – 56) and Millar Rose (5- 50) will benefit from the experience and looked green here. Brighton 24/04 Two thirds of the field had previous experience but it was left to a newcomer in Bronze Maquette (1st – 78) to win impressively. At the rear she finally got the hang of things leading around a furlong out and quickly drew clear. Whilst not the strongest of fields she won well, will improve and win again. Macarthurs Park (2 – 63) was one of those with a previous run, led showing good speed for much of the way still showed signs of greenness and may find a small race before too long. Leicester 26/04 This could throw up a couple of nice early 2yo. Kool Kompany (1st – 80) although ridden along for some way picked up eventually and won without being put under too much pressure. Sure to improve he should pick up more races. Haxby (2 – 77) looked to be going best of all until inexperience told, he is certain to improve and will win a race or two. Hell of a Lord (3 – 75) showed enough to suggest he will find a race; Vimy Ridge (5 – 56) was in the firing line for much of the way and although no chance with the front pair should improve. Ripon 26/04 The market suggested that Sarista (1st – 84) had the edge and so it proved just. Making all and looking a comfortable winner a furlong out she held on from the fast finishing Realtra (2 – 78). The former will win again in this company whilst the latter is certain to find a race soon. Alaskan Wing (4 – 58) whilst no threat to the front pair, showed good speed throughout and only relented when pressure exerted in the last 200 yards, will benefit from this run considerably. Kempton 27/04 Dittander (1st – 77) is another winner for the Hannon team, staying on strongly to win without being fully extended; she’ll improve and can be upped in class. Ar Colleen Aine (2 – 73) showed enough here to win any ordinary all weather maiden; Howlin’for you (3 – 68) led for most of the way until lack of experience showed, any sort of improvement will be enough to win a small race. Windsor 28/04 Justice Good (1st – 75) was well fancied for his promising debut and there was no mistake this time taking the rail position early keep on well to win with an amount in hand, further improvement anticipated and there is better to come. Dougal (2nd – 72) made a move a furlong out and the winners experience showed, he’ll benefit for the run and will win a race before too long. Pontefract 30/04 This looks a fairish maiden and it would be know surprise if there are future winners in the line up. Firgrove Bridge (1st – 78) was away well enough led over a furlong out to stay on strongly. Clearly knowing his job, further improvement is likely and can win a race or two. Zeela (2nd – 71) stayed on for second and can find a small race before too long. Juventas (4th – 53) outpaced early doors and a never nearer several lengths behind the winner stayed on well and should improve, Montefalcon (5th – 55) pulled hard early on and never really settled but stayed on in decent style and will be of interest in the coming weeks. Southwell 30/04 Midterm Break (1st – 81) confirmed his earlier promise and won with a fair amount in hand, he’ll win again if not too highly tried. Rita’s Boy (2nd - 76) wasn’t too well away and made steady progress and wasn’t given a hard time and he can be expected to pick up a small race. Diminutive (4th – 63) a promising debut, inexperience showed and will benefit from the run. Musselburgh 02/05 The betting market suggested that Mambo Paradise (1st – 85) was unfancied, however tracking the leader was pushed along to lead inside the last 200 yards to win going away. She’ll improve on this and can win a race or two. Al Ghuwariyah (2nd – 76) was odds on and lacked a bit of finishing pace, that said she’s capable of picking up a small race. Winstanley (3rd – 80) looks a sure fire winner, close up until lack of experience told. Secret Friend (4th – 69) is another that will improve and will find a race in the north if not too highly tried. Doncaster 03/05 This looks a nice race and it would be no surprise if it produced a number of winners. Natural Orders (1st – 84) was well fancied and tucked in behind the leaders until staying on to win, improvement more than likely and he’ll improve to win more races. Flying Machine (2nd – 83) on another day may have won this, finishing strongly and is certain to win a race or two. Union Rose (3rd – 81) led into the final 200 yards until lack of experience and was run out of it. He’s bound to improve from the run and will find a race. Latch Onto Blue (4th – 81) never threatened but stayed on strongly, he’s another that will improve for sure. Power Play (5th – 78) was always prominent until the final furlong, he’ll benefit from the run and will win a race. Thirsk 03/05 Captain Colby (1st – 80) made all and stayed on in good style. He’ll improve again and should win more races. Denton Dawn (2nd – 73) showed signs of greenness when asked for her effort and was never going to go by the winner. That said it was a nice debut and she’ll improve. Stanghow (5th – 62) never got into the race however looked as green as they come but stayed on well enough to suggest he has ability and will improve. Newmarket 04/05 One of the only two fillies in the race took this and looks a good maiden and it’s certain that there are some future winners. Elite Gardens (1st – 83) quickened to lead inside the last to win and stayed on. Obvious improvement expected, she’ll win a race or two. Aktabantay (2nd – 88) looked green finished fast and may have got up with a tad further to go. He’ll win before long. Symbolic Star (3rd – 82) was in with a chance approaching the last furlong, better for the run he’ll be there or thereabouts next time. Brazen Spirit (4th – 78) one with a previous run, showed enough to suggest a small race is within him. Shackled N Drawn (5th – 76) and Billyoakes (6th – 72) were no threat however ran good races and further improvement expected. Chester 07/05 Mukhmal (1st – 95) broke smartly from the outside draw and bombed along at a nice pace kept up to his work and stayed on strongly, there are further races to be won with him. Roudee (2nd – 85) briefly threatened and can progress and win again. Chester 08/05 A reasonably competitive event with Ballymore Castle (1st – 83) confirming earlier Newbury promise. Pushed along a fair way from home he stayed on strongly to suggest another furlong is required. Improvement expected he should be able to win further races. London Life (2nd – 76) has taken part in some good maidens and she should be able to find a race before long; Hell of a Lord (3rd – 81) is another that should be losing his maiden tag, beaten under a length here the rating is clearly up to winning any ordinary race. Of the newcomers Red Lion (4th – 76) had every chance on the last furlong but the front three had previous experience, he will improve and win a race or two. Ascot 09/05 Another for the Hannon team Dangerous Moonlite (1st – 84) was away smartly, kept on impressively to win with some in hand. Although too early to suggest Royal Ascot expected improvement certainly would, she’ll win again for sure. Ajmal Ihsaas (2nd – 81) never threatened the winner but made nice progress without being given a hard time, this was a promising debut and she’ll be winning before long. Falling Petals (3rd – 76) gave way over a furlong out she’ll be better for the experience and won’t be far away next time. Golden Zephyr (4th – 73), Showcard (5th – 72) and Crawford Avenue (6th – 72) all on debut showed enough promise to suggest further improvement will be enough to win a race. Ascot 10/05 This looked a good field and it would be no surprise if the race produced some nice colts. Moonraker (1st – 85) was green early on but soon found the hang of things and won in good style. Improvement expected he’ll win more races. Mubtaghaa (2nd – 84) got the hang of things too late in the day, finishing strongly he’ll certainly progress and good enough to win virtually any maiden before making a mark in stronger company. Winslow (3rd – 83) didn’t have a clue for four furlongs is another that will make significant progress and will win before long. St. Brelades Bay (4th – 77) made steady progress without threatening, he will improve and win a maiden in the not too distant future. Sunset Sail (5th – 73) was presumably the fancied of the Hannon duo with Hughes on board, not given a hard time once his chance had gone will improve considerably on this. Doncaster 12/05 Although two of the seven had ordinary form the strongly fancied Muhaarar (1st - 87) won impressively, drawing clear over a furlong out and staying on strongly. He’ll improve again and will win more races. Newmarket 15/05 Realtra finally got off the mark however one of the outsiders Commander Patten (2nd – 81) came with his effort challenging strongly in the final furlong and lack of experience may have made the difference. He is bound to improve and win a race. Bazzana (3rd – 68) stayed in without being given too hard a time, will come on from this. Newbury 16/05 A fairly competitive event but won in straightforward fashion, Clouds Rest (1st – 85) was smartly away and kept on strongly. A nice type she will remain a contender in better races to come. Persun (2nd – 79) never threatened but stayed on strongly, an extra furlong will do no harm and she should find a maiden fairly soon. Expensive Date (4th – 79) another on debut was carried off her feet early on however stayed on well and will win a race or two. Newmarket 17/05 As anticipated Juventas (1st – 84) progressed after her first run and stayed on strongly to win in good style. She will improve again for sure and may be worth a chance in better company. Newcomer Dutch Party (2nd – 79) had no answer to the winners pace in the final 200 yards but will improve and win before long. Ski Slope (5th – 75) and Savoy Showgirl (6th – 70) never threatened and were not given a tough time of things however improvement anticipated and may be worth keeping an eye on. Thirsk 17/05 This was won in emphatic style by the newcomer Harrys Dancer (1st – 87), obviously green she quickened clear in the final furlong to win with a fair amount in hand. She will certainly improve and will win more races. Mystic and Artist (4th – 69) showed inexperience and kept on well though, she may be one to consider in an ordinary maiden in the North. Leicester 19/05 Lightning Stride (1st – 86) pinged out of the stalls and set good pace and although headed over two furlongs out quickened again to lead in the last 150 yards or so. Still showing signs of inexperience he should be able to win another race or two. Town Crier (2nd – 83) looked all over the winner a furlong out and will be winning before long; Fuwairt (3rd – 81) was a threat briefly until lack of experience told, he will be winning soon. Belvoir Diva (4th – 71) and Offshore (5th – 68) never looked likely to involved at the finish however both were given nice introductions and will improve on this. Windsor 19/05 The winner had a previous run and that was significant, however Al Fareej (2nd – 75) ran with promise leading over a furlong out and only headed late on. She will improve and can be expected to make amends. Paint the Star (3rd – 70) in the firing line, lack of experience in the last furlong made the difference, she will improve. Nottingham 20/05 An interesting event with the winner Dr. No (1st – 92) improving on his debut run. He should be able to find another race or two. Aktabantay (2nd – 87) was longs odds on after his very promising debut, he still looked green here wandering about when pressure applied and he remains one to watch. Star Citizen (3rd – 82) on debut ran with promise, in the front rank for much of the way, he is certain to improve and will win a race before long. Final Decision (4th – 74) may not develop into one of the stable’s leading horses however he was very keen early on and looked as though he’d improve significantly for the experience. He will be winning races. Gideon Jukes (5th – 70) kept on well enough to suggest there will be improvement and any should win any ordinary event in the north. Salisbury 22/05 A small field but they tanked along nicely with Percy Alleline (1st – 85) staying on strongly to win without too much fuss. Very promising there is better to come and will win more races if not too highly tried. Sunset Sail (2nd – 81) had no answer to the winners turn of foot but remains one to be interested in and his time clearly shows he is good enough to win any ordinary maiden. Goodwood 23/05 Parsley (1st – 85) had clearly benefitted form her previous run and leading a furlong out quickened clear to win with something in hand. She’ll win another race or two. Little Palaver (2nd – 76) was asked quicken in the last two furlongs and stayed on in good fashion to suggesting improvement and should find a small race Step to the Shears (3rd – 80) wasn’t given a hard time of things but stayed on very nicely and will find a race soon. Carlisle 26/05 Judged on the betting market the result may not be surprising, the way she won so impressively Likely (1st – 95) may have been. Tracking the front pair from the outset she quickened and drew clear in the final furlong. With improvement expected then is bound to be involved in her Royal Ascot target. Mattmu (2nd – 85) runner up again, is capable of winning any ordinary maiden. Haydock 29/05 Red Icon (1st – 85) followed up on his promising debut making all and only needed to be pushed out to win. He can improve again. Intiwin (2nd – 78) stayed on well enough without threatening and would not need to improve much to find a small race; Grigolo (3rd – 76) showed good pace throughout and is certain to benefit from the run and will win a race. Sandown 29/05 Tiggy Wiggy (1st – 105) was always going well and led inside the final 200yards and ran on strongly. Clearly the soft ground suited though may not be essential, she will win more races. Cock of the North (2nd – 99) off since the Brocklesby, was slowly away and never got in a blow, an extra furlong may suit and he should find another race. Roudee (3rd – 96) had no chance with the winner and he’s about as good as this though he should find another race. Haydock 30/05 A fairish race. Snap Shots (1st – 79) led and when challenged by the second stayed on in good style, there is better to come and he will win more races. Maljaa (2nd – 77) came through to win and with any amount of normal improvement will win races. Pallister (3rd – 72) had every chance and will improve next time. York 31/05 Mister Universe (1st – 89) clearly benefitted from his previous run was away well and stayed on strongly. He should win more races. Home Cummins (2nd – 82) was pushed along some way out, is bound to improve and will be winning before long. Windsor 02/06 Justice Good (1st – 100) continues to progress, repelling the strong challenges and staying on strongly. He maybe an each way factor at Royal Ascot. Smaih (2 – 89) was slowly away and took some time to get the hang of things. He came with a good run, the winners experience proving decisive, he could well turn into a smart colt and will win races. Nottingham 04/06 This looked a fair race and may through up one or two future winners. Osaila (2nd – 82) was strongly fancied and came with a strong run until lack of experience told. She is sure to visit the winners enclosure in the near future. Three Robins (3rd – 70) the outsider of the Hannon pair, looked inexperienced and was given a nice introduction, she’ll improve on this for sure. Goodwood 06/06 A good maiden won by the Jungle Cat (1st – 94). Obviously benefitting from a previous run he stayed on strongly. He’ll improve again. Sixty (2nd - 88) ran to a good standard on debut and although not looking likely to win showed immense promise and will be winning before long. Aledaid (3rd – 85) was a hot favourite but couldn’t maintain his effort when asked two furlongs out and can be expected to go one better soon.
