Over 15-year experience in ultrafast optical spectroscopy: subpicosecond optical stroboscopy (pump-probe
and up-conversion luminescence) and picosecond luminescence
Utilization of a large variety of experimental tools:
-Laser sources: ultrafast solid-state lasers, regenerative amplifiers, optical parametric oscillators, gas-filled
and semiconductor lasers
-Nonlinear optical techniques: four-wave mixing, sum-frequency generation, two-photon absorption.
-Light detection techniques: streak cameras, synchronous detection, balanced detection, photon counting,
direct detection with fast photodiodes and digitizing scopes
-Cryogenic systems and vacuum systems
Background experience in high-resolution far-infrared and microwave spectroscopy
