has broken.
L: Let us take and eat, that our world may find healing;
P: Let us partake at one table, that our world may know peace.

P: That those who gather much may have nothing over,
All: And those who find crumbs may have no lack.
Opening Prayer: (in unison)
O Lord our God, Your love falls on Your creatures like morning dew.
Therefore, we beseech You, grant to us the fullness of faith, that we
might invest one another with trust. Breathe to us the full utterance of
Your word, that we might address one another with understanding.
Bring us to the full knowledge of Your salvation, that we might
liberate one another with trust. Arouse in us the full earnestness of
Your power, that we might uphold one another with strength. And
surround us with the fullness of Your love, that we might embrace one
another with compassion. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.

O God of all creation, the earth is Yours and the fullness thereof. You
touch the leaves with the dew of the morning; You send the breezes to
cool the night. The trees are laden with fruit because of Your blessing;
fields produce crops because of Your care. As You watch over Your
people and fill all their needs, now send forth Your Spirit and be present
among us. We lift up our heads and give You praise in Christ’s Name.
Amen.
Closing Hymn: “Love Lifted Me” (#25 SOG )
1. I was sinking deep in sin
Chorus: Love lifted me
Far from the peaceful shore
Love lifted me
Very deeply stained within
When nothing else could help
Sinking to rise no more
Love lifted me
But the Master of the sea
(REPEAT)
Heard my despairing cry
From the waters lifted me
Now safe am I
Chorus:
2. All my heart to Him I give
3. Souls in danger look above
Ever to Him I'll cling
Jesus completely saves
In His blessed presence live
He will lift you by His love
Ever His praises sing
Out of the angry waves
Love so mighty and so true
He's the Master of the sea
Merits my soul's best songs
Billows His will obey
Faithful loving service too
He your Savior wants to be
To Him belongs
Be saved today

Chorus:
Prayer Of Confession: (in unison)
God of forgiveness, grant us Your favor as we make our confession. You
call us to excellence; we fall short of your confidence in us. You grant to
us grace; we abuse Your gift. You expect our decisions to match Your
desires, our love to be genuine in obeying Your will. Yet we trust our
appetites rather than rely on Your goodness. We look to our comfort
rather than to our neighbor’s need. In Christ, have mercy on us and
forgive us our sin.
Assurance Of Pardon:
Paul assures us of God’s reconciling graciousness when he writes, “You
know the generous act of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich,
yet for your sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty You might
become rich.” In Christ we may dwell in the richness of God’s favor, and
may rest assured in the fullness of God’s redeeming forgiveness.

In His boundless love and mercy,
From the curse to set me free.
He the ransom freely gave.

On the cross He sealed my pardon,
Paid the debt, and made me free.

And His heav'nly love for me;
How the victory He giveth
He from death to life
Over sin and death and hell.
Hath brought me,
Son of God, with Him to be.

Message:
Statement Of Faith: “The Apostles’ Creed” (# 918 VU)
I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,
born of the Virgin Mary,
suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to the dead.
On the third day he rose again;
he ascended into heaven,
he is seated at the right hand of the Father,
and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic Church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.
