The Producer's Program
The AAI designation gives you a competitive edge in the increasingly competitive insurance business.
You will be able to increase your commissions, improve your insurance knowledge, learn how to avoid
E&O claims, and earn continuing education (CE) credits for your license renewal -- all at the same time.

Continuing Education Credits: Each segment is approved for 8.0 P&C credits.
Course Sequence: It is best to take AAI 81 before taking AAI 82. AAI 83 may be taken at any time.
AAI 81—Foundations of Insurance Production:
Segment A: The Insurance Business: An Overview, Insurance & the Legal System, Risk Management &
the Producer, Insurance Sales/Account Development.
Segment B: Personal Insurance: Homeowners & Personal Auto Insurance, Personal Financial Planning.
Segment C: Commercial Property Insurance: Introduction to Commercial Insurance, Property Direct
Damage Insurance, Business Income and Extra Expense, and Commercial Inland Marine.
AAI 82—Multiple-Lines Insurance Production:
Segment A: Commercial Liability Insurance: Commercial General Liability Insurance, Professional
Liability, Commercial Automobile and Garage and Motor Carrier.
Segment B: Other Commercial Insurance: Commercial Crime, Businessowners, Other Commercial
Coverages, Workers’ Compensation and Employers’ Liability.
Segment C: Specialized Insurance and Bonds: Specialty Property, Excess and Umbrella, Ocean and
Marine, and Surety Bonds.
AAI 83—Agency Operations and Sales Management:
Segment A: Principles of Agency Management: Agency Formation/Environment, Organizational
Management, Agency Management and Personal Production Plans.
Segment B: The Insurance Production Environment: Producer-Insurer Relations, Public Image of the
Agency, Agency Growth and Customer Communications.
Segment C: Agency Management Tools and Processes: Managing Agency Information Technology,
Management of Customer Services, Agency Financial Management, and the Producers Legal and Ethical
Responsibilities.
Class Location: Classes will be held at the Centerville Seminar Center, Centerville Commons - Bldg. #2
(2nd Floor, Suite 5) 875 Centerville Road (Route 117), Warwick, RI. Directions are included with
registration confirmations.

Semi-Private Class Instruction:
1. Our class size is limited!
2. Students will be able to ask questions and receive one-on-one assistance due to the small class
size.
How to *Earn the AAI Designation:
*Each AAI Course (AAI 81, 82 and 83) is broken into three segments - A, B & C.
*Attend all three segments for each part - ONLY 9 one-day seminars in all!
*At the end of each classroom segment, a multiple choice exam will be given.
*When you successfully complete all 9 segments and pass the corresponding exams, you will earn the
AAI Designation*!
*IMPORTANT REMINDER: Completing the Insurance Institute's FREE, online, Ethical Guidelines for
Insurance Professionals (Ethics 311) program is now a requirement to earn all the Insurance Institute's
associate designations. Visit the Institute's website at www.AICPCU.org for details.
Course Waiver Information:
The AAI 81 (segment A, B and C) exams will be waived if a student meets one of the following criteria:
*Currently holds the IIA Certificate in General Insurance (INS)
*Currently holds the CIC designation
*Has Completed CPCU 553 or 555 (CPCU 2), CPCU 551 (CPCU 3) and CPCU 552 (CPCU 4)

REQUIRED COURSES: Class Time: Classes are held from 8:30 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m.
Registration and coffee start at 8:15 a.m.
Please note: The registration deadline on our calendar is for each segment! **For those wishing to take
a Segment for CE credits ONLY, the tuition is only $145.00 and includes CE Credits.
