L. Fischer scholarship at the Faculty Education, Palacký University are based on the Rector’s directive B3-15/4-PR – J. L. Fischer scholarship in the academic year of 2016/2017, of 7 December 2015, who in compliance with the provisions of Section 91, Article 4, Clause b) of Act No. 111/1998 Coll., on Higher Education Institutions and on amendment to some acts (Higher Education Act), as last amended and in compliance with Article 11 of the Scholarship Code of Palacký University in Olomouc and Internal Regulation of Palacký University in Olomouc No. A13/2012, announced the J. L. Fischer scholarship. Article 2 Eligible applicants The J. L. Fischer scholarship is intended for daily students in doctoral degree programmes delivered in a foreign language at the Faculty of Education, Palacký University. Article 3 Scholarship awarding conditions Scholarship applicants shall submit a written application to the Department of science, research and doctoral studies to the head officer of doctoral studies. An integral part of the application is a professional CV of the applicant, list of publications, participation in research projects, individual study plan, including supervisor’s assessment and expected scientific outcomes achieved by means of the scholarship. The expected outcomes shall mean at least 3 papers in international peer-reviewed impacted journals or a scientific monograph in English or a submitted application for an international scientific research project. The application shall be submitted no later than 30 June 2016. The Dean shall decide on awarding the scholarship based on the recommendation of the Vice-Dean for science, research and doctoral studies, who shall be the chairwoman of a three-member board appointed by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Palacký University. The scholarship shall be awarded to individual students for a period of 6-12 months. In case of outstanding scientific results the payment of the scholarship can be extended for another period of 6 months upon the student’s request, recommendation of the board and approval of the Dean. The scholarship amounts 15,000 CZK per month. 6S/2015 PdF UP Implementing regulations Dean's Directive, Faculty of Education, Palacký University 6S/2015 Article 4 Checking compliance with the scholarship conditions A student who was awarded the scholarship must, within one month after completion of the payment, submit to the Department of science, research and doctoral studies to the head officer of doctoral studies, a final report describing the activities performed, and copies of the publication outcomes, or an application for an international scientific research project. Article 5 Final provisions This Directive shall come into force on the date of signing by the Dean of Faculty of Education, Palacký University, and become effective on the date of its publication on the official notice board of the Faculty of Education, Palacký University in Olomouc, i.e. on the second day after coming into force. doc.
