In order to be eligible to exhibit rabbits or cavies in displays, members must be a member in good
standing of WMRBA. The exhibitor’s membership in WMRBA must be established by June 1st of the
exhibit year.
Barn Superintendents need to know at least 3 weeks before the fair how many holes members are
requesting. Members from the same farm, firm or family will be classified as one exhibitor.
Only rabbits & cavies belonging to club members in good standing will be sold at the barn. No cages,
books or equipment will be sold at the displays unless consigned to the club to be sold by the club in the
barn itself.
Only members of WMRBA working at the displays have the right to remove animals from display holes
for potential customers to look at. That person is not responsible for damage or injury.
Members that do not help with the required clean up in the barns may be asked not to bring
rabbits/cavies back to the next fair. This will be at the discretion of the barn superintendent.

WMRBA will take reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of all animals and the equipment sent or
brought to the exhibition. It must be distinctly understood that the owners themselves assume all risks
for their own equipment and animals. In the event that any animal or equipment is accidentally injured,
lost or stolen, WMRBA will render all necessary assistance within its power toward recovery of said
item; however WMRBA will not make any payment for the value thereof.
State veterinarians & barn superintendents have the right to examine any animal for health problems.
Any unhealthy animals must be removed from the display area immediately. Anyone finding problems
with any unhealthy animal will notify the barn Superintendent to the exact location of the animal so
action can be taken immediately.
All rabbits and cavies must be at least 8 weeks of age.

Exhibitors will present a consignment sheet to the Barn Superintendent at least one week prior to the
load in day of the fair display. The consignment form will be provided to the Exhibitor by the club and
must be filled out completely. The list will include fillers that are to be left on load in day. Exceptions to
this rule are fillers that are brought in after the first day of the fair.
Members can fill their own holes. If they have no more fillers, they have to notify the barn
superintendent. If exhibitors want to go into rotation, the barn superintendents have to be notified prior
to the start of the fair. All holes will be filled at all times. Holes will be filled overnight during the fair.
All holes not filled by 8am on the first day will be filled by rotation.
All rabbits need to be tattooed in the left ear with a tattoo that is unique to the rabbit.
By consigning animals to the fair display, the Exhibitor automatically agrees to the terms of Club Barn
Rules and will abide by said rules.
No unsold rabbits/cavies will be taken out of the displays before the closing of the fair without the
express permission of the barn superintendent.
Exhibitors must be present at the closing of the barn on the last day of the fair to collect their animals
and assist in clean up. Exhibitors may not leave until the barn superintendent excuses them.
The club will settle all consignments with Exhibitor’s at the closure of the barn display on the last
day only. Exhibitors will be paid for their sales less the 20% commission by a WMRBA check for
the total due the exhibitor. At the time of payment the Exhibitor will be asked to sign a receipt
acknowledging that they agree that the records are correct and that the payment amount is
correct. By accepting the payment and signature of the receipt, the Exhibitor releases any future
claim on WMRBA for payment.
The Exhibitor will be given a copy of all sales invoices made on their behalf by the Club at the fair
display.

The minimum sales price for all animals is $25.00. There is no maximum sale price. Exhibitors set their
own price for animals, with the only stipulation that they observe the minimum sale price.
The Club’s commission percentage for all animal sales is 20%. This commission applies only to animals
that are sold at the display. There is no commission levied for animals that do not sell and are returned to
the Breeder at the close of the display.
