Time and Technology This list is developed to address the problematic of time and technology. For different theorist and disciplines, time is often constructed as variable relating to speed, as history, as labor/money, as experience or ontology. Such conceptions on time are usually contingent on a relation to technology, techné, or media-technologies. Drawing from work in American Studies, Communication Studies, Cultural Studies, History, Information Sciences, Literature, Media Studies, and Sociology, this list connects theoretical and philosophical issues regarding various technological and temporal configurations.
