Professor Geare Alan teaches papers in employment/industrial relations. His research interests are in employment/industrial relations, industrial law and aspects of human resource management, and has authored a dozen books and over fifty articles in these areas. He has published in such journals as Academy of Management Review, International Labour Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management and Personnel Review. Crafting a winning CV can be challenging for many people. If you would like to be able to help others (friends, family or community members) present themselves successfully in their CV – this workshop is for you. Spend two days becoming familiar with what employers look for in CVs, learning how to use professional CV templates and practicing writing about skills and achievements. Find out about other ways people can promote themselves to employers, including through social media sites like Linked In.
