CONTRACT OF SALE
This contract is between George Leonard (Ke Alo Lani Labradoodles) hereinafter referred to
as BREEDER/SELLER and __________________________________________________,
hereinafter referred to as BUYER(s).

Seller agrees to sell Buyer a puppy born April, 2014 ______________________________
Sire:__Golden Love Affair, from GoldStandard Poodles.com in Kalapana
Dam:__Juno, from KeAloLani Kennel, purchased from AlohaLabradors.com Kennel in Kona. For the
sum of $800.00. Shipping via Hawaiian Airlines cargo to the other Islands is an additional $150
(includes kennel).
1) The BUYER agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical
attention, proper grooming and responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy
parasite/heartworm free and up to date with inoculations, proper nutrition, which consists of a good
quality professional feed given at regular intervals, and fresh water available at all times. The
BUYER promises to provide a safe environment for the dog, and never allow the dog to be tied up or
roam freely without proper fencing or supervision.
2) If at any time the BUYER can no longer retain possession of this dog, the BREEDER/SELLER is
to be notified and given first option of resuming full ownership of dog in order for the
BREEDER/SELLER to locate this dog a new home. The dog will be returned with all medical records.
Should any circumstances arise that affect the quality of life of the dog, the BREEDER/SELLER is
to be informed so that they may participate in determining the future of the dog. The
BREEDER/SELLER reserves the right to approve/prohibit any transfer of this animal to a third
party. Under no circumstances will this dog be sold, leased, traded or given away to any pet shop,
research laboratory, animal shelter or similar facility unless a prior agreement exists.
3) The BUYER agrees to contact the BREEDER/SELLER immediately if any questions or concerns
arise about the dog, such as housing, diet, or health. The BUYER agrees to keep the seller informed
of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the BREEDER/SELLER with an opportunity to follow up
on puppies and gives us important feedback and information on the health or our dogs for future
generations.
4) The BREEDER/SELLER guarantees that the puppy is free of hereditary defects to the best of
his/her knowledge.
In the event a genetic defect is discovered, BREEDER/SELLER DOES NOT require the return of
the puppy in order to receive a replacement puppy. BREEDER/SELLER does not expect a good pet
owner to relinquish a beloved pet. However, if a PUPPY from BREEDER/SELLER should be diagnosed
with a listed genetic defect within the first two (2) years of life, BREEDER/SELLER will provide a
replacement PUPPY of the same sex and quality from the next available litter or the litter of the
BUYER'S choice. The BREEDER/SELLER is not responsible for any costs associated with diagnosis
and treatment of genetic disease or defect.
The BREEDER/SELLER reserves the right to have the PUPPY examined by a second veterinarian of
the BREEDER’S/SELLER‘S choice at the expense of the BUYER, for the purpose of a second opinion
regarding any claims under this HEALTHY PUPPY GUARANTEE. In the case of hip dysplasia, the
claim must be accompanied by a statement from the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA)
confirming that the PUPPY does have moderate to severe dysplastic hip joints. In the case of PRA
(Progressive Retinal Atrophy) the claim must be accompanied by a statement from a board certified
veterinary ophthalmologist stating that the PUPPY has been diagnosed with PRA.
Claims against this GUARANTEE must be accompanied by a statement from BUYER'S veterinarian
on the veterinary clinic's letterhead, accompanied by a copy of the receipt from BUYER'S original
"New Puppy Vet Visit” to be considered valid. This HEALTHY PUPPY GUARANTEE is not
transferable and is valid only for the original BUYER.
5) The BREEDER/SELLER guarantees this puppy to be of sound health and temperament at the time
of this sale. A health record of all shots and/or worming will be provided by the BREEDER/SELLER.
To activate this HEALTHY PUPPY GUARANTEE, BUYER must have the PUPPY examined by
BUYER'S licensed veterinarian within three (3) days of physical possession (New Puppy Vet Visit).
Failure by the BUYER to have the PUPPY examined within the above mentioned time frame voids the
Agreement and Guarantee in its entirety and frees the BREEDER from any further responsibility
towards the health of said puppy. Should the puppy be determined to be in ill health at the time if
the new puppy vitis, the cause of which the BREEDER/SELLER is clearly to blame, the dog may, upon
a signed written diagnosis from said licensed veterinarian, be returned for refund of the purchase
price. The BREEDER/SELLER assumes absolutely no responsibility for fees associated with caring
for the puppy. No other guarantees are given.
6) It is understood at the time of sale that this is a pet quality dog and it is representative of its
breed. Training classes are highly recommended for a happy relationship between the dog and
family.
The preceding paragraphs contain conditions established by the BREEDER/SELLER to ensure the
well being of the puppy. The BUYER’S agreements will continue for the duration of the dog’s life
and the Seller will have the right to enforce the agreements.
BREEDER makes no express or implied warranties or guarantees other than those set forth in
this CONTRACT OF SALE AND HEALTHY PUPPY GUARANTEE.

I, the undersigned BUYER(S), have received a copy of this signed AGREEMENT. Acceptance
of the PUPPY, and my signature on this agreement, indicate that I have read, agree to, and
understand all the conditions of this CONTRACT OF SALE and HEALTHY PUPPY GUARANTEE.
