The Competition will be run in accordance with Pony Club Rules for Tetrathlon 2015 but the riding will not be timed and please see penalty sheet attached. Any Complaints or objections should be made by the
Team Manager ONLY and will only be entertained for a maximum of 20 minutes after the scores are posted to save waiting time.

Only one coach or parent will be allowed at the end of the pool. Attention is drawn to the ASA advice contained in the Tetrathlon Rule Book. All footwear to be removed on entering the Poolside Area and all
Leisure Centre Rules must be observed please.
Shooting
NHHPC will adhere to all rules so please ensure your Competitors are familiar with them. No person under
18 yrs may be responsible for, or carry a gun. Guns must be stored in their boxes and locked in a secure place. They should be brought to the shooting tables in their boxes and only unboxed at the start of the detail under instruction. Substantial shoes that do not support the ankle but which cover the whole foot eg trainers, must be worn. Any breach of safety rules will result in disqualification.
Under 8s will simply throw bean bags at a target from a distance of 3m instead of shooting pistols.
Riding – the Courses will be ready for walking by 3pm on Saturday 19 th September.
Classes 1-3 will ride a small course of rustic and coloured show jumps in a small paddock. Competitors may be led or assisted (this includes any outside assistance including verbal help) but will incur 200 penalties.
There will be no gate for these classes but course will include a slip rail.
Classes 4 and 5 will ride a cross country course with jumps approx. 2’3” (any outside assistance will incur
200 penalties). The course will include a slip rail and a gate to open and close.
Classes 6 and 7 will ride a cross country course with jumps approx. 2’3” (any outside assistance will incur
200 penalties). The course will include a slip rail and a gate to open and close.
Riding Lower Course Competitors may choose to ride a lower course but they should inform the
Organisers immediately they have walked the course for their class. Notification MUST be before the first
Rider of the Class starts. Jumping a lower course will incur 500 penalties.
Crash hats must be worn and must bear the CE mark and a quality symbol, either BS Kitemark, the SAI
Global SAI Global symbol or the official Snell label. The CE number on its own is not sufficient PAS015:1998 and Snell E2001 are recommended. Hats must all carry a Pony Club purple hat tag. Body protectors and medical armbands must be worn by Competitors.
CAR AND HORSE BOX PARKING Please allow time to walk from the Parking to the main school buildings – it is a 5 minute walk so remember to bring kit with you. NO ponies must be left unattended tied up outside lorries or trailers please.
The Tetrathlon will be run under PC Rules 2015 but will not be timed with the exception of Penalties below:-

Medical Cover - A Trained First Aider will be present throughout but no Ambulance will be on Site. (The local Ambulance Station is situated at Bromyard within 3 miles of the School)
