"She observed a religious fast after dawn. But the queen was very fragile and couldn't stand the rigors of fasting. By night, Veeravati fainted as she became wea. The queen had seven brothers who adored her beyond a reasonable doubt. They couldn't stand the predicament of their sister and chose to end her fast by misleading her. They made a flame at the adjacent slope and told their sister to see the moon's glow. They guaranteed her that it was the moonlight and since the moon had risen, she could break her fast."

After getting aware of this the queen asked for forgiveness, Goddess Parvati gave her some hope and said that her husband the king would be resuscitated but would be sick."

"On reaching her palace the queen discovered the king waslying unconcious with many needles embedded in his body. Every day, the queen figured out how to remove one needle from the lord's body. One year from now, upon the arrival of Karva Chauth, only one needle remained in the emperor's body."

"The queen watched a strict fast that day and in order to buy karwafor puja she went to the market, in the palace the queen's maid removed the last needle from the king's body. The king regained cognizance, and confused the house keeper for his queen. At the point when the Veeravati came back to the royal residence, she was made to serve as a maid."

"Veeravati was very religious and faithful and still observed the Karva Chauth vrat . Once when the king was heading off to some other kingdom, he asked the actual queen (now turned cleaning specialist) whether she wanted something. Veeravati requested a couple of identical dolls. The king obliged and the queen sang " Roli ki Goli ho gayi... Goli ki Roli ho gayi " (the queen has transformed into a house keeper and the maid has transformed into a queen)."
