Academic:
1. This person had an ankle fracture, classify it. What do you do in the ED? When would
you take them to OR? How would you fixate it? What is He feels popping a few years
later, what would be your differential? What imaging would you get? How would you
treat it?
2. Patient had ankle fracture 10 years ago, it was fixed, then had arthroscopic
microfracturing of OCD on talus 5 years ago. Here is the MRI. What do you see? How
would you treat this? At what point to you do arthroscopy vs open? How would you
treat an OCD >1cm? Always remember past surgeries and allergies. What is the
classification of OCD? What is the mechanism of this one?
3. You are called to the ED with diabetic patient with red, hot, swollen foot. What are 4
