CFN FELLOWSHIP OF MINISTERS AND CHURCHES
Purpose of Scholarship.
Christ For The Nations Fellowship of Ministers and Churches (CFN FMC) “Dr. Eric Belcher
Scholarship” has been established to support and encourage new and current CFNI students, who
exhibit exceptional Christian character and leadership abilities, and who have given their lives to
serving God and their fellow man.
“Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.
I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. I tell you the truth, no servant
is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him.”
John 13:14-16 NIV
Eligibility.


Applicant must be a CFN FMC member in good standing, a dependant of a CFN FMC member
in good standing or a member of an affiliated church in good standing.
Applicant must have received acceptance to attend CFNI.
Requirements.





Proof of acceptance to CFNI.
Letter of recommendation from pastor.
Recent color passport photo.
If an international student, copy of documents indicating proper visa status.
Essay. It must include the following: why you are applying, how God is using you to influence
the lives of other people (please be specific by including your activities and leadership
positions), the short- and long-term goals you have set for yourself. It should be 500-800
words, using single spacing, 12-point font size in Courier or Times New Roman.

Awards.
Tuition fee for one semester:
$ 2,445.00
A total of three awards are given per semester.

Scholarships are paid directly to the CFNI finance office.
Recipients may re-apply each semester they are enrolled as a student at CFNI.
Basis for Selection.
A committee will review applications and acceptance will be based on this application as well as the
Pastor’s Recommendation. A personal interview may be requested by the committee (can be
conducted via phone).
To remain in good standing for the scholarship, the student is required to:

Maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5.
Not exceed the allowed number of attendance points per semester.
Be in good standing with the dean’s department.
Complete the assigned volunteer hour tasks assigned by the FMC office (min. 75
hours/semester)
5. Must have exhibited leadership skills and potential as observed by FMC Director.
Failure to adhere to all the requirements will result in forfeiture of scholarship.

We prefer that all application materials be mailed/submitted as one package. If the recommendations
are mailed/submitted separately, the applicant is responsible for making sure that we receive it on or
before the deadline.
Incomplete or late applications will not be reviewed. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

will make me ineligible to apply for further scholarships.
