 Fresco: a painting done on a wall coated with plaster
 Megaron: a rectangular hall in the Minoan architecture that has a two-column porch in front

inspiration. Mycenaean art uses Minoan and Egyptian influences.

2. Corbeling in architecture
Vocabulary:
 Corbeling: half way between the post and lintel and an arch, a corbeled arch has layers of stone jutting
out above the layer below- forming a step like arch.
 Repousse: a sculptural design in which a metal sheet is hammered from the reverse or inner side to
make a design.
