About the Seminar
This seminar is being organised with a view to enrich the activities which can develop
scientific atmosphere among students and teachers. This seminar will provide a common platform
for scientists, teachers and academicians to exchange their ideas. The qualified scientific manpower
can be exploited for the sustainable development. Continuous new innovations will solve the
problems faced by the industry. Chemistry has always been playing a key role in all round
development of mankind. The tremendous potential of chemical science to offer eco-friendly and
low cost option of water treatment and sustainable agricultural production can be exploited for the
welfare of humankind. Nanoscience, industries adopting the principle of green chemistry, climate
change and food security and reclamation of waste water along with integrated water resource
management are some of the important fields which should be emphasized for the betterment of
the society.
Further the principle of green chemistry should be followed by the industries in practice for
causing lesser damage to the environment. In the context of economical and technical development,
the world always had been better than yesterday at the cost of environment. So loss of biodiversity,
habital destruction, global climate change, water and air pollution should be controlled. The task
before the Government is to create development strategies that incorporates values of environment
sustainability while increasing economic growth.
The seminar will include invited talks, oral and poster presentation by leading experts in
chemistry, researchers and environmental scientists. We hope that the seminar would provide
learning opportunities and suggest ways and means of sustainable development.

Venue
G. B. College, Naugachia is located 0.5 Km from Naugachia Railway Station. It is surrounded
by lush green field and mango orchards which offer a tranquil location a bit out of the hustle
and bustle of the city at large. Naugachia is an important model railway station which is
directly linked with New Delhi, Guwahati and Katihar. Bhagalpur Junction is only 20 Km.
south of this station. A participant can come to Naugachia within an hour form Bhagalpur.
Abstract Submission
Abstract should be based on the findings of the paper within the theme. The abstracts
should reach the convener by 25th August on A4 size white sheet typed in a single space by
email. No abstract will be accepted without email of at least one author.
