North Texas was surrounded by several disasters last year; the plant
explosion in West, Texas, tornados in Granbury TX, Moore OK, and
Reno OK. Countless lives were ripped apart during these disasters.
In the midst of this chaos and pain, the church has an incredible
opportunity to share the love of Christ in word and deed. As 1 John
4:19 says “We love because He first loved us.”

Perhaps your congregation has responded to disasters in the past.
Perhaps members wanted to, but didn’t know how. The needs during
a disaster are great, and we can do more by partnering together.
