The methods for scientists and researchers wanting to study genomic diversity and all possible associated phenotypes were very slow, expensive, and inefficient. Before the invention of multiplex automated genomic engineering, researchers would have to do single-gene manipulations and tweak the genome one little section at a time, observe the phenotype, and start the process over with a different single-gene manipulation.
Multiplex Automated Genomic Engineering, MAGE, is a new and much improved process for quick and efficient manipulations of a genome, all happening in a machine small enough to put on top of small kitchen table. It makes slight work of targeted mutations, with results in a matter of days as opposed to weeks. The machine enables researchers to make about 50 genome modifications at essentially the same time. Those mutations combine with the variation that naturally occurs during cell mitosis creating billions of cellular mutations. MAGE can target and

modify multiple loci across the genome from single nucleotides to a couple of small genes. In
2009, Church and his team were able to program the bacteria, Escherichia coli, to produce five times the normal amount of lycopene, an antioxidant normally found in tomato seeds and linked to anti-cancer properties. They applied MAGE to optimize the 1-deoxy-d-xylulose-5-phosphate
(DXP) metabolic pathway in Escherichia coli to overproduce isoprenoid lycopene. It took them about 3 days and just over $1,000 in materials. The ease, speed, and cost efficiency in which
MAGE can alter genomes can transform how industries approach the manufacturing and production of important compounds in the bioengineering, bioenergy, biomedical engineering, synthetic biology, pharmaceutical, agricultural, and chemical industries.

Fermenters are huge tubs which contain bacteria inside that are kept in optimum condition for temperature and pH. A sterile condition is also maintained to enable bacterial multiplication producing enzymes as the by-products of the chemical reactions. These enzymes are then harvested and used for industrial processing of fermented products like milk and wine.
We are installing our modified fermenters we will add shakers below each fermenter. Who will do the job of vortex on large scale.

Fermenters work by providing the necessary environment so that the process of fermentation can take place successfully.

The work of the fermenters is reduced due to the availability of the MAGE but however we still need them for mass production of our enzymes: we discussed the import of fermenters from

High performance liquid chromatography is basically a highly improved form of column chromatography. Instead of a solvent being allowed to drip through a column under gravity, it is forced through under high pressures of up to 400 atmospheres. That makes it much faster.

Electrophoresis is a technique used to separate and sometimes purify macromolecules - especially proteins and nucleic acids - that differ in size, charge or conformation. As such, it is one of the most widely-used techniques in biochemistry and molecular biology.
When charged molecules are placed in an electric field, they migrate toward either the positive or negative pole according to their charge.
