To meet full requirements of the MCHB LEND Long Term Trainee Certificate (>300 hours, Leadership Project, completion of activities supporting 5 core competencies). To gain hands on experience for leadership roles in the provision of health and related interdisciplinary care, continuing education, technical assistance, research and consultation. To work alongside parents of children with special needs and self-advocates to gain in depth insight into family centered and culturally competent care.
