Who Can Attend:
Open to girls enrolled in grades 7-12
in the fall of 2015.
What to Bring:
Aside from a t-shirt, shorts, socks, tennis shoes, and
kneepads, you may also want to bring a water bottle,
ankle braces, and money for lunch or your own sack
lunch.
Cost:
$115 per camper if paid before July 10, 2015.
$135 per camper if paid after July 10, 2015.

Coach Deb Marlin was hired as
head coach of the Mustangs in June 2013 after
serving as associate head coach at Mount Mercy
since 2006. She has been involved in volleyball at
the high school, college and club levels for most of
the past 20 years. Marlin prepped at Cedar Rapids
Kennedy and played collegiately at Morningside,
setting single season and career records for the
Cougars and Mustangs.
Marlin served as head volleyball coach at
Kirkwood Community College, where she was
named NJCAA Region V Coach of the Year while
leading the Eagles to a top-five finish at the
national tournament.

school career record for solo blocks with 241, and
is 2nd all-time in total blocks with 439. She ended
her career with 1,000 kills, ranking 5th in school
history. Wagy received Honorable Mention AllConference honors 3 times while playing at IWC.
She also received Academic All-America Honors
while at Wesleyan.

ERIN DAVIDSON
HEAD COACH

COLLEGE
WEST BURLINGTON, IOWA
Erin Davidson is entering her first
year as Head Coach of the Blackhawk Volleyball
Program. Coach Davidson joined SCC from York
College in York, Nebraska. As a player for York
College, Davidson earned multiple conference
honors as a setter and libero. These honors
include being named to the MCAC first and
second all conference teams. Davidson ended her
playing career with over 2,200 assists and 1,300
digs.

IOWA WESLEYAN COLLEGE
MT. PLEASANT, IOWA
BJ Wagy joined the Iowa
Wesleyan athletic staff as the new
volleyball coach for the 2014-2015 season. She
came to IWC after graduating from Barry
University in May of 2014, with her master’s
degrees in Sport Management and Business
Administration.
Wagy is a native of Cedar Rapids, IA and a 2011
graduate of IWC with a degree in Exercise Science
and Sports Management. She was a member of
both the volleyball and track and field teams
during her time at the college. Wagy holds the

the job as Assistant Coach for the York College
Panther volleyball program. In the two years with
the Panthers, Davidson has assisted the team to 2
conference tournament appearances and
numerous individual conference awards.
Coach Davidson is excited about her upcoming
season and to build a strong and successful
program both on the court and academically. “I
have the highest of expectations for my team and
look forward to rebuilding the Blackhawk
volleyball program. This program has had a
tradition of winning and intend on continuing that
tradition.”
