number of matching indicators (between both sets)
listing the regional and global Tier-1 indicators that match in burgundy red (colour of good
French wine), and highlighting in Pacific blue, the draft Pacific headline indicator that did not match the
draft global one.
For example, regarding SDG-1, both draft Pacific and draft Global Tier-1 lists each contain three headline
indicators:
 Match between 2 draft Pacific and global headline indicators (1.1.1 and 1.2.2) – in burgundy;
 One draft Pacific regional headline indicator not matching global Tier-1 indicator – in Pacific blue

The proposed draft list of regional Headline indicators was compiled by the Pacific Community Statistics for Development Division,
in consultation with UN based PSIDS ambassadors, and in collaboration with thematic subject matter specialists from the following
four regional organizations: Forum Fisheries Agency (FFA), Pacific Community (SPC), Pacific Island Forum Secretariat and the South
Pacific Regional Environment Program (SPREP). It is previewed to have a final regional consultation prior to the 2nd SDG-IAEG
meeting in Bangkok, 26 – 28 October 2015.
