CREELMAN FAIR HORSE SHOW Saturday, July 20, 2013 – starts 9 a.m. HALTER CLASSES – entry fee is $3, prize money is $10.00, $6.00, $4.00 1. Foal of current year 2. Yearlings 3. 2 Year olds 4. Ponies, 3 and over, 14.0 hands and under 5. Mares, 3 and over, over 14.0 hands 6. Geldings, 3 and over, over 14.0 hands PARADE – All costume class entries please ride in the parade. All other riders or drivers also very welcome! 7. COSTUME CLASS – All Ages – immediately following the parade. May be broken into age groups if entries warrant. 8. HARNESS CLASSES: Pleasure Driving Team, any height.PERFORMANCE – Unless otherwise stated prize money is $10.00, $8.00, $6.00 Saddle marks no problem in showmanship if you rode in the parade. 9. Showmanship (18 years and over) – pattern to be posted 10. Showmanship (12-17) – pattern to be posted 11. Showmanship (11 and under) – pattern to be posted 12. HARNESS CLASSES: Pleasure Driving, Single Horse, any height 13. HARNESS CLASSES: Youth Driver (18 and under) 14. Bareback class – (17 and under) – Bob Wallace Memorial. No chaps. 15. Lead line – (6 years and under) – prizes ipo prize money 16. Walk – jog – (9 years and under) 17. Child saddle pony (14.0 hands and under) – shown by child 14 and under. 18. English Pleasure – all ages 19. English Equitation – all ages BREAK 20. Western Pleasure – (13 and under) 21. Western Pleasure – (14 to 17) 22. Western Pleasure – (18 and over) 23. Snaffle Bit Pleasure – open to horses 5 years old and under. Must be ridden in a ring snaffle or bosal. 24. Open Western Pleasure stake – entry fee is $10 of which $7.00 is added to the stake money. Creelman Agricultural Society adds $20.00. Stake to be divided 40% 30% 20% 10% 25. 4-H Light Horse - must be in Cloverbud Unit of a 4-H Light Horse Project. Class work at judge’s discretion. 26. 4-H Light Horse – must be in Unit 1 or 2 of a 4-H Light Horse Project. Class work at judge’s discretion. 27. 4-H Light Horse – must be in Unit 3 or 4 of a 4-H Light Horse Project. Class work at judge’s discretion. 28. Western Horsemanship – (13 & under). Class work at judge’s discretion. 29. Western Horsemanship – (14-17). Pattern to be posted. 30. Western Horsemanship – (18 and over). Pattern to be posted. 31. Novice Rider Western Horsemanship – rider has not won 2 first place ribbons in a riding class at any show prior to this fair. Pattern or rail work at judge’s discretion. 32. Youth Reining – (17 and under) – any legal bit, 2 hands to be allowed. Pattern to be posted. 33. Ranch Reining – (18 years and over) – any legal bit, 2 hands to be allowed. Pattern to be posted. 34. Creelman Special Jack Benny Class – Open to riders 39 and over. Pattern or rail work at judge’s discretion. Plaque 35. Creelman Agricultural Society Champion Saddle Horse, open to horses who have won a first ribbon in Classes 19 thru 26, and classes 30, 31, 32, 34 and 35. No entry fee. Gaits and pattern at judge’s discretion – not posted prior to class. Trophy. GROUPS - Entry fee $2 per person. Prize money $12.00, $8.00, $6.00. 36. Saddle Pairs 37. Musical Chairs – (15 and over) HORSES NOTE: Halter Classes will begin before the parade, at 9:00 a.m. This is a change from other years, but we’ll give it a try and see how it goes. Costume Classes will be judged immediately after the parade. We ask costume class participants to please ride in the parade. All classes will be in the order shown in the book. Age of rider will be as of January 1 of the current year. Entry fees: unless listed otherwise will be $3.00 per class. ( $2.00 per person for group classes (pairs and family ride). Each exhibitor will also pay $3.00 membership fee for Creelman Ag Society. Sorry, no stalls available. Please note ponies are 14.0 hands and under for this show. Entries may be measured.
