SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS

11:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. Mon.-Fri.
10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sat.-Sun.

NO SOLO SWIMMING – POOL PASSES MANDATORY
1. All persons using the pool or pool area do so at their own risk. The
association assumes no responsibility for any accident or injury in connection
with such use or for any loss or damage to personal property. Pool passes
are REQUIRED to be with residents at all times and must be made available
for view by the pool attendant. Failure to have pool passes will result in the
pool attendant not allowing access to the pool.
2. Persons using the pool area agree to indemnify and hold harmless the
Recreation Facility and all sections that comprise the Recreation Facility
from any and all liability of any nature relating to use of the swimming pool
or recreation facility. Residents and owners are responsible for the acts of
their children and their guests.
3. Persons using the pool area must comply with all rules and regulations as
determined by the City Health Officer and the State Dept. of Public Health
and management of the Vinnin Square Recreation Facility. Anyone with colds,
inflamed eyes, infection, bandages, or open skin abrasions, may not use the
pool.
4. The pool may be closed at any time due to weather, equipment failure, or
other circumstances. The Board of the Vinnin Square Recreation Facility or
Manager reserves the right to deny anyone the use of the pool or pool area
at any time.
5. Not allowed in Pool area or Pool:

Pets, animals, toys, balls or snorkeling equipment.

Beverages in glass or metal containers; food; running on the pool
deck; unnecessary roughness; radios; horse playing; ball playing and
other undue disturbances are strictly prohibited; rafts; balls; kick
boards; scooters or other similar equipment; swim fins; Styrofoam
articles; coolers; noodles

Private functions or parties; diving or jumping; pool is only 3 feet
deep

Smoking in any area of the Pool and Recreation Facility

Child under the age of 3 years old in diapers, including swimmy
diapers or swimmy rubber pants, or a child who is not toilet trained.

Children under the age of 14 without parental or guardian supervision
6. Only food (no glass) is allowed in the verandah, not in the pool.
7. Beverages are allowed in PAPER OR PLASTIC CONTAINERS ONLY in the
pool area. Metal cans and glass are not allowed. All containers must be
removed from the pool area.
8. One adult for every three (3) children under the AGE of 14 will be allowed in
the pool area. Guardians must be 18 years or older
9. Only bubble belts and bubble arm bands are allowed for small children – NO
OTHER FLOATATION DEVICES ALLOWED
10. Papers and refuse must be deposited in the appropriate receptacles
11. Poolside furniture may not be moved outside the pool area. Pool furniture
may not be reserved
12. Tables are NOT to be used for diaper changing
13. Anyone using suntan oils must put a cover towel over the pool furniture
14. Before entering the Pool, swimmers must:
a. Remove suntan oils, creams, lotions and hair pins
b. Shower before entering the pool
15. Only proper swimming attire is permitted in the pool (cutoffs are not
allowed)
16. Only radios or other portable listening devices with headsets are allowed in
the pool area
17. Numbered pool passes will be distributed to all owners/residents. Each unit
will receive TWO NUMBERED passes, and these passes must be presented
to the pool attendant. You will be allowed to bring two guests per pass.
Maximum of six (6) people per unit allowed.
18. The pool is for the exclusive use of the owners and residents of all sections
of the Village at Vinnin Square and any visitor MUST be accompanied by an
owner and/or resident. If an owner or resident gives a pool pass to another
individual to use without the resident or owner being present, the pool
privileges of that owner/resident will be suspended for the remainder of the
season. Residents must remain with guests at all times.
19. The kitchen will be open during pool hours BUT not when an event is going on
in the Club House. Bare feet or wet bathing suits are NOT allowed in the
clubhouse area or kitchen.
20. Resident disturbances will be addressed by the pool attendant or Manager.
No confrontation with the pool attendant will be tolerated. Please contact
the Manager to report any incidents with the pool attendant.
21. Breach of these Rules and Regulations may result in revocation of your right
to use the Recreation Facilities.
22. Posted Pool hours are when the pool attendant is on duty. Owners and/or
residents may access the pool area with their clubhouse access cards after
hours, but CANNOT use the pool if the pool attendant is not on duty.
