Exhibitors must comply with GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS (Agriculture Division), the IAFE National Code of Show Ring Ethics, and HEALTH REQUIREMENTS. (Including Age Limits.) NOTE: Exhibitor must be 8-18 years of age as of September 1, 2012. b. All rabbits must be owned by the exhibitor prior to June 15th, 2012. c. Rabbits will be tattooed on Saturday, June 29, 2013 from 9:00am – 11:00am at the DuPage County Fairgrounds. d. Rabbits must be tattooed prior to day of check in, Tuesday, July 23, 2013. Check-in-time: 8AM – 8PM. e. All entries must be permanently ear tattooed. f. The ear number should be in the left ear and the registration number (if the rabbit has one) in the right ear. g. Remark cards MUST be filled out and turned in at check-in. h. Rabbits weighing less than 1 lb by Fair date will not be allowed at the DuPage County Fair. i. Diseased or unfit rabbits shall be removed at the discretion of the Fair Veterinarian or Department Superintendent. j. Each Exhibitor is expected to present his/her entry or entries at the judging table for judging. Only exhibitors shall be allowed in the judging area during judging. k. Rabbits can be shown in either Meat Pen (Commercial) or Fancy Three (Fancy), NOT in both. *Check below for Breed Type. l. All Class changes must be done prior to day of judging. Each exhibitor will be limited to two (2) changes, excluding gender changes. m. Exhibitors MUST be present each day to feed and clean and must be finished by 10am, water and care for their own rabbits or rating may be lowered at the discretion of the superintendents. n. Only rabbits shown will be allowed in barn. o. Sale of Rabbits allowed Friday, after rabbit judging has concluded. Cannot be removed until Sunday @ 8:00PM. p. Only exhibitors can sell rabbits. q. Rabbits will not be allowed to leave barn before 8:00pm Sunday, including those sold. Exhibitors not complying will be banned from future Fair exhibits / sale receipts MUST be provided to all buyers. r. Cages will be furnished. Exhibitors must bring their own Bedding (must be shavings), food and bowls. s. Individual check-out of rabbits may be required at discretion of Department Superintendent. t. Decorations should not be attached to cages and NO BALLOONS in barn. u. All ages are at the time of the show: Commercial Breed Senior entries - over 8 months old; Intermediate entries-6 to 8 months old; Junior entries - 3 to 6 months old; Pre-Junior entries-under 3 months old; .Fancy Breeds-Senior over 6 months, Junior under 6 months. v. Maximum of 25 Class Entries (Breeds, Meat Pens, Fancy Three, Single Fryer) per Exhibitor (Fur Class Entries will not count towards the maximum). w. No pregnant rabbits are to be brought to the fair. x. Rabbits entered in a “breed type” may also be entered in Fur Class, Meat Pen, Single Fryer, and Fancy Three classes if the rabbit meets the requirements for the additional class(es). y.
