COMMITTEE REPORT FOR NANOS

Committee Tasks:
Develops and maintains a continuing medical education program for all NANOS meetings; develops
recommendations and monitors all activities related to NANOS continuing medical education activities.
 Work with Executive Office and Scientific Program Chair to ensure that all CME requirements are met
 Review educational programs annually
 Review all critiques of the meeting
 Review and evaluate all Annual Meeting content
 Communicate with Scientific Program Chair to approve annual program
 Develop and monitor procedures for sponsoring other meetings
 Facilitate reaccreditation process
In addition:
Short term task:
Propose structure of CME Committee that takes into account necessity for institutional memory and succession
planning and presents proposals for Fall Board meeting.
Chair tasks:
 Acquire the most current knowledge of ACCME requirements
 Propose Vice Chair and train him/her as part of succession planning
 Train Committee members in CME Committee tasks.
