Error report generated when trying to save a Word document that was opened from DocFetcher
and edited using Word 2010 under Win7 – Word sends the error message « There has been a
network or file permission error. The network connection may be lost » and then « Cannot write
to disk ». note that if said document is opened manually from Windows Explorer this does not
occur. Also, machines running Office 2003 or Windows XP are not affected.
Microsoft’s KB suggests various resolutions, but they do not apply to this situation.
