Strengthen foundational skills Maximize time with strategies Ample practice and reflection Sample topics that might be covered will include: Basic cryptology Projectiles Statistics Pascal’s triangle – binomial theorem Fibonacci sequence Sierpinski’s triangle Matrices Fermat’s Last Theorem Conics Math in music Golden ratio Pythagorean theorem Math in sports Complex/imaginary numbers It is important that middle school students be able to work and think independently on unique and creative topics. Having students explore and research independent topics and present their findings to peers can improve both confidence and their abilities to understand and interpret mathematical data and information. PSAT Boot Camp and School Seminars will be held on Mondays from 3:30-4:30 so students can take the activity bus home. Activity busses will not start until October so please plan accordingly.
