You will master the technique of hair removal with wax safely and efficiently to ensure a smooth and hair free finish to the legs, arms, face, bikini, abdomen and underarm. You will also cover different types of hair removal products such as sugaring and hot wax to give you the platform should you wish to proceed to advanced waxing. You will also provide advice to the client regarding aftercare and the avoidance of certain activities and the use of homecare products. Learn about different cleansing techniques and how to perform a skin analysis. Give the most relaxing and rewarding facial massage and learn how to select the best masques for your clients for the best results for all age groups and types. Also, delve into the structure of the skin and how to identify different skin disorders. Learn how to maintain skin condition through a variety of treatments to include: skin exfoliation, skin warming, extraction, facial massage, masque treatments and the use of facial products. Such treatments must be successfully provided to a range of clients with a variety of skin types and conditions. Transform your clients with the effects that you will master to offer the best day or evening make-up and develop the confidence to do occasional make - up such as photographic or bridal make - up. This unit is about providing make - up treatment for a variety of occasions including day, evening and special occasions. You will need show that you can work with a variety of skin types and conditions (covered in the facial component of this course) It also covers the application of a wide range of products to suit different skin tones and age groups. Cleansing,and preparations, application of foundation, concealer, powder and day eye make - up Corrective eye make - up and lips and blushers Corrective day base - full evening make - up Manicure & Pedicure - 2 weeks Here, you will cover the basic treatments first before progressing to the luxury manicure and pedicure which will include using thermal mits and booties, paraffin wax and hot oil. Up to the minute varnishing techniques to enhance the nails and massage to help improve the general condition of the hands and feet combine to make this one of the most popular combined treatments. These units regard providing nail treatments. Consulting with the client and preparing a treatment plan, recognising any contra indications, removing any nail polish and nail extensions( for the hands), cleansing the treatment area and recommending suitable treatments. It covers filing, buffing, applying skin and cuticle treatments, for the feet, soaking and removing excessive hard skin, massage techniques and polishing nails.
