At 2 years: at least three episodes of wheeze after 1 year of age in combination with treatment with inhaled glucocorticosteroids and/or sign of suspected hyperreactivity without concurrent upper respiratory infection. At 4, 8, 12 and 16 years: at least four episodes of wheeze in the last 12 months or at least one episode of wheeze during the same time period in combination with occasional or regular treatment with inhaled glucocorticosteroids. Rhinitis: At 1 year: symptoms from eye/nose after exposure to furred pets and/or pollen and/or doctor’s diagnosis of allergic rhinitis from the first 3 months of life. At 2, 4 and 8 years: symptoms from eye/nose after exposure to furred pets and/or pollen and/or doctor’s diagnosis of allergic rhinitis since the previous questionnaire. At 12 years: symptoms from eye/nose after exposure to furred pets and/or pollen during the latest 12 months and/or doctor’s diagnosis of allergic rhinitis from the age of 10 years.
